The competition in this industry is pretty steep.

Our listings can easily be drowned out and neglected by all the other thousands of listings out there. It is quite difficult  to make your listing something that can easily be noticed but it's not impossible.

Below are some of my tips to help you get those listings noticed and easily close deals.

1.) Utilize excellent SEO

SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization.  Using the right keywords or phrases that can specifically link to your listing can help your customers find your listing in the search result.

It is ideal to at least use keywords in two to four words in length that may include the location of the property , state or city.

Think of yourself as a customer, what do you think will they be searching for most likely? Start working from there.

2.) Make Use of Exceptional Photos

Using an excellent photograph of that state-of-the art infinity pool or that intricately designed foyer or that compact yet stylish kitchen is really going to be jaw-dropping for anyone who will see it.

Through this, your listing will easily get noticed. So instead of using a low quality camera phones, you might want to invest on a decent camera , if you don't have time to take it yourself, you can always hire a professional photographer. Trust me, your investments will all be worth it.

3.) Maximize your Email List and Reconnect with Past Clients

Maximize the use of email. It is one of the most effective way to get noticed and it is as well free so take advantage of it. Make sure to make a good impression once you drop those emails. A catchy headline combined with nice photos will surely catch their attentions.

It is also helpful to reconnect with your past clients who are very much satisfied with their transaction with you. They are the one's who want to connect with for they may have sources on who's looking to buy or sell. They can as well recommend you to their friends, relatives and colleagues.

4.) Spread the word about your listing on Social Media

I cannot stress and emphasize more on the importance and impact brought about by social media in today's marketing strategies. Social media is one of the strongest and most effective tool that we can use and this statement can't be any truer.

There are a lot of social media platforms you can use to share your listings. There's Facebook, the most widely used social media platform in the world. There's also Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn. You just need to post few details about your listing, include a photograph and you have got yourself an advertisement ... and not to mention it's free.

5.) Work Hard, Persevere and Never give up

The real estate industry is all about perseverance. It requires patience and hard work.

Endless conversations with people, knocking on doors, thousand of phone calls, countless follow ups and not to mention rejections and frustrations.

In our industry, there are a lot of obstacles and hindrances that may stop us and it's clearly inevitable.

But it all boils down on how much you want to succeed.

That's the thin line that differentiates a successful real estate agent and someone who's just in it to get by and make ends meet, the amount of perseverance that you put in to work hard and make that sale each and everyday.

Whether you are new in the industry or a seasoned agent, there will always be a room for improvements to make yourself a better and a stellar sales person.
