Time management may be one of the hardest skills to master but gaining control back in your day is extremely important.

Ultimately, it doesn't matter how much commissions you make or how much money you earn..

Yes, you can buy more software, all that fancy stuff, but you can NEVER buy more time.

OWNING YOUR TIME

Let me share with you what I notice that is prevalent in all areas in top-producing agents especially in the luxury market. They all own their time.

Here's what you need to do so that just like them you can own your time too:

  • Set your goals for the entire year.
    It could be closing 100 deals, building your team, anything you can visualize.

  • Break those goals into days. Decide on what tasks need to be done to accomplish or be closer to those goals you have set.

  • Break those days even more into 30-minute chunks. Utilize 30-minute intervals in your day and shift them around as needed - like an interactive puzzle to control your day.

Solving your daily moving puzzle will bring you to realize your goals

This is the secret to gaining control back in your business.

There's something magical about this interval of time - it's not too short or too long..it allows you to shift around between a lunch meeting, a showing, some prospecting or anything that you have prioritized in your day.

You need to take into consideration about cancellations, schedule being moved, but if you stay as close as possible to meeting those 30-minutes blocks then you'll be fine throughout the day.

Always keep in mind that you are in charge of your business and taking back control of it is crucial. It is best to set longer term goals and breaking them into more manageable chunks in days and in 30-minutes per day.
